LM Content Creator

Responsiblities:
• Creating informational content related to language learning, LinguaMondial, and endangered languages on the following platforms: Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Promoting LinguaMondial to others in the community.
• Co-hosting periodic Q & A sessions on the @linguamondial instagram.
• Searching for and creating resources to be published on the LinguaMondial website. These may include Quizlet sets, learning PDFs, vocabulary lists, etc.
• Potentially reaching out to local language tutors, teachers, organizers, and potentially librarians in the community, for requesting resources and/or resource suggestions.
Notes:
• Once the LM Content Creation team has expanded, the application for Director of Language Resources will open up.
•Able to use Quizlet proficiently, including the creation of card sets and sharing of created resources.
•Able to scan documents and photos, either with a scanner or app such as Adobe Scan.
•Can reach out to local language tutors, teachers, organizers, and potentially librarians in the community, for requesting resources and/or resource suggestions.
Recommendations
Weekly Time Commitment: 2-4 Hours

Expectations:
•Familiarity with Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Jamboard, Google Slides, and Google Drive.
•Able to use Quizlet proficiently, including the creation of card sets and sharing of created resources.
•Able to scan documents and photos, either with a scanner or app such as Adobe Scan.
•Can reach out to local language tutors, teachers, organizers, and potentially librarians in the community, for requesting resources and/or resource suggestions.
Recommendations:
•Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and/or Canva.
•Some artistic ability for creating graphics on an occasional basis.
•Basic understanding of online language learning platforms, such as Duolingo, Babbel, Babbel, Rosetta Stone, etc.
•Willing to share notes from previous or current language classes.
•Current Language Resource Folder Contributor for at least one language.
Weekly Time Commitment: 2-4 Hours
